The ingredients required are 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil, ½ cup of organic rose water and mint essential oil. The teaspoon of Vitamin E oil is mixed in the ½ cup of organic rose water. 1-2 drops of essential oil are then dropped into the mixture. It is then mixed thoroughly. The resultant liquid is then stored inside a plastic spray bottle. The facial spray is ready to use. The organic rose water used in the spray serves to provide a pleasant fragrance. Vitamin E oil is good for treating acne problems. Drops of both rose essential oil as well as ylangylang essential oil can be used for anti-aging effect.
In order to make lavender facial spray, you require half a cup of distilled water, lavender essential oil and one tablespoon of witch hazel. Add one tablespoon of witch hazel to the half cup of distilled water. Mix it well with the water. Now you need to add 5-6 drops of lavender essential oil to the mixture. Mix it well by stirring for a long period of time. Now pour the liquid in a spray bottle. The spray is ready to use. This spray is suitable for people with oily skin. The witch hazel present in the mixture opens up the skin pores and also has an anti-bacterial action. Cucumber and Aloe Vera Spray
Cucumber and Aloe Vera Spray requires 1 cucumber, lemon grass essential oil and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera juice. You need to cut the cucumber into small chunks and extract the juicy pulp by putting the pieces into a blender. Thereafter, you need to separate the pulp by using a strainer or thin cloth to get only the juice. Now add a teaspoon of aloe vera juice to the cucumber juice followed by a few drops of lemon grass essential oil. Mix the contents well and transfer the liquid into a spray bottle.
Cucumber provides a soothing effect to the skin and imparts freshness. Aloe Vera hydrates dry and damaged skin and provides relief. Lemon makes the skin softer. You can also use rose water in the spray to correct the swelled look of the face which comes from lack of sleep. Altogether, cucumber and aloe vera spray is highly suitable for summer months and after a long day under the sun to sooth sunburns.
Green Tea and Aloe Vera spray
The ingredients required are ½ cup of cooled green tea, jasmine or camphor essential oil and one teaspoon of aloe Vera juice. First of all you need to boil some green tea leaves and extract the liquid after straining the leaves. You can also put a green tea bag in a cup containing boiled water. Allow the tea to cool. Now you need to add one teaspoon of aloe vera juice to the cooled green tea followed by two drops of jasmine/camphor essential oil. Mix the contents well and pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Shake the bottle before use.
Green tea has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties which have a beneficial effect on the skin. This is also the reason why this spray can be used to treat acne and pimples. Jasmine or camphor essential oil enhances the fragrance of the spray. Aloe Vera, as mentioned earlier, imparts freshness to the skin.
Coconut water and Aloe Vera spray
You require ½ cup of coconut water, 1 teaspoon aloe vera juice, half a teaspoon of lemon juice and sweet almond essential oil. The process is simple. You simply need to mix a teaspoon of aloe vera juice with half a cup of coconut water. Thereafter, add half a teaspoon of lemon juice followed by two drops of sweet almond essential oil to the mixture. Mix the contents and transfer the liquid into a spray bottle. Coconut water lasts for a few days, thus the solution should be kept in a fridge when not in use and discarded after a week.
The coconut water rejuvenates the skin. This spray is suitable for people living in tropical countries.
