Castor Oil Massage

Lie down on your back comfortably and massage in a thick layer of castor oil over the stretch marks; now cover the area with a piece of plastic wrap; apply heat with the help of a heating pad for about 20 minutes. After this, you remove the plastic wrap and wipe away the dripping or excess oil from the area with a wet cloth. Repeat this every day for atleast 1-2 weeks until the stretch marks fade away.

Olive Oil and Aloe Vera

Take half cup of olive oil and equal amount of aloe vera gel in a bowl and mix well; apply this mixture onto the stretch marks every night at bed time. Wipe off the extra mixture next day morning from the skin, you can store this extra mixture in an air tight container in the refrigerator and use the next day. Remember to spread out an old towel or tissue sheet before lying down on the bed or your clothes and bed sheets might be stained.

Beeswax

This is an age old process of treating stretch marks; all you need to do is take 2 teaspoons of grated beeswax in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it for about 15 to 20 seconds. Stir and again heat for 10 seconds, stir after every 10 seconds until you see that the wax has melted completely. Now add half cup of cocoa butter, 1 spoon of wheat germ oil and apricot kernel oil to this melted beeswax. Finally, 5 drops cedar wood oil and rosemary oil – now mix the solution very well and massage this deep into the skin where the stretch marks have appeared for atleast twice a day and do not rinse it off. Besswax is available in most of the health stores.

Oil Massage

Mix equal amounts of bath oil, lavender oil, safflower oil, shea butter and then rub this pack into the stretch mark area very well. Do this right after taking a bath and do not rinse it off. Let the skin soak in the mixture. This should be done daily for about 2 months to see significant changes.

Apart from the above mentioned home remedies, there are many more ways to prevent stretch marks on the breast. You can apply castor oil regularly onto your breasts, lower abdomen and hips area from the fourth month of your pregnancy to avoid these stretch marks. Here are some additional ways to get rid of these breast stretch marks –

  • Massage your breasts daily with some light, moisturising oil or cream
  • You can buy the commercial spread scar treatment cream and apply on the stretch marks daily; however all of them do not show equal effects.
  • Cocoa or Shea butter are probably the best massaging agents for stretch marks, be it at any part of your body.

Stretch marks on the breasts can be faded away if not removed completely (that is possible only by surgery). If you are a lactating mother, it is recommended to talk to your physician before starting on any cream or oil massage.
