Female sex problems used to be something that nobody would want to discuss but it is now something that many women will see a doctor for. The benefit is that there are a number of magazines and websites that will offer some advice on the different problems that women may face and about getting over them.

The Importance of Sexuality

This is something that is important for both men and women. Sexuality will lead to physical activities and the different psychological experiences that a persona will have. These both help with the intimacy that is required for many for such as act. There are many different things that will affect sexuality, including your own feelings about you and the relation to others. Previous experiences will also have an effect and can often lead to sex problems occurring.

Sex ProblemsA woman’s sex organs work differently to a man’s. They peak at a later date – usually in the 30s or 40s, instead of the teens to 20s – and they are often linked to emotional feelings and not just physical attraction.

A sex problem will interfere with the satisfaction that a woman feels during her activities with a man – or another woman – and is often noted as being female sexual dysfunction.

Surprisingly, 43 percent of women will report FSD at some point in their lives.

The Different Stages of the Sex Cycle

A sex problem will occur in women for different reasons than for men. It is important to understand about the sexual response and the cycle for that. While this cycle is the same with men and women, there are different rates and changes physically to it. There are 4 steps to this cycle.

The first is the desire. This is the excitement phase and the interested in sexual activity. Many people will refer to this as being in the mood or not. There are many things that will affect this, including physical attraction and hormones. For women, hormones will play a major part – the more estrogen that there is, the less testosterone, which means that the desire is much lower.

The Arousal period is the next phase, which is the stimulation period. There are many different parts to this, including the use of all of the senses and even the imagination. There are physical changes that will occur during this stage, including the amount of fluid that is secreted in the vagina. The fluid is a lubrication, which helps with intercourse.

The climax, known as the orgasm, is the next phase. This is when arousal has reached its peak. The muscles in the vagina will start to pulsate as the blood circulates around the system. This is a very pleasurable sensation that is felt.

Finally, the resolution stage is when the female sex organs return to their states of unarousal. There are a number of feelings that are linked to this, including happy, relaxed and sometimes sleepy. This differs from woman to woman.

Why Sex Problems Occur

Because of the different stages, there are different areas where sex problems may occur. This is something that needs to be looked into, and is something that a doctor can help with. If the FSD is not something that is diagnosed and helped with, it often leads to a breakdown in the relationship as the partner will feel partially responsible.

The most common problem is a lack of desire sexually. This is when there is no interest in sex and is especially common among women. There are a number of reasons why this may happen, including a previous bad experience or a trauma that has occurred. There are some who will find this happens for a short period and may be linked to hormone levels, while others will find that this occurs all of the time.

A small number of women will have a problem when it comes to reaching orgasm, which is a common problem with sex. If there is no arousal or no orgasm, a woman may become less interested in sex at a later date. There are some women who struggle to have an orgasm at all and it will take some training to find all of the spots. However, there are others who will just have a delay and it leads to the partner needing to do a little more work.

Pain is a very common reason why women will avoid sex. There are a number of reasons for pain to occur, including not being lubricated enough and even just trying the wrong position. The problem is that this leads to other sex problems, including a lack of desire.
