Mostly, the warts are painless. Pain occurs only when they are bumped or irritated, which may also result in bleeding of the wart. On the other hand, plantar warts can be very painful when you keep pressure on them through walking.

The genital wart symptoms can also develop on your vulva, urethra, vagina, cervix, and around your anus where you find an increased vaginal discharge, abnormal vaginal bleeding, itching around your vulva, urethra, vagina, cervix, and around your anus.

Despite the fact that most warts pose no significant health risks, there are exceptions. Ignoring the early genital wart symptoms and left untreated can lead to more serious conditions. For instance, untreated genital warts may lead to cervical cancer, anal cancer in women.
