Though taking things at their face value is never a wise move, yet when we talk about beauty and looks, face is the first thing that is taken into consideration. Face never reflects your inner self, yet that that is the first thing that people see and it is the face that creates the first and lasting impression.  Hence, having fat on your face is something that is not desirable and if you have facial fats, it is important that you lose it.

Avoid Alcohol and Smoking

Many a times we come across many people who despite of having a perfectly trimmed body have facial fats. The reasons for this can be attributed to various factors like dehydration, excessive drinking, anemia, kidney disorders and even allergenic responses. Some effective ways of losing facial fats include:

1. Exercise

You can come across many DVDs and videos on the internet that has yoga moves meant for reducing facial fats. There is this exercise where you need to stretch your neck gradually in the backward direction and after curving it to its maximum, you are required to open and close your lips in quick succession.

This exercise can help you in getting rid of your double chin and make your face look more attractive. Another effective exercise involves rotational movement of the head with the back remaining erect and straight. Smiling is also a good exercise for this and you need to smile as wide as possible.

2. Dietary changes

Excess intake of fat and refined carbohydrates can result in formation of adipose tissues (fats) on your face. The same hold true for uncooked salt as well. Make sure that your diet is full of minerals and vitamins. Lay special emphasis of vitamin C but not those that have excess Beta carotene.

Make sure that your have at least three helpings of fruits and veggies every day. Drink organic green tea with a dash of lemon and ginger instead of caffeine contained drinks. Keep your system hydrated by drinking lots of water and juices as this is really effective in trimming facial fats. Avoid aerated drinks and any drinks that contain artificial sweetening agents.

3. Avoid Alcohol and Smoking

Avoid alcohol as it helps to reduce fat from your face as well as body.  Too much consumption of alcohol simply means taking empty sugar filled calories that can cause dehydration which can further lead to water retention and other problems.

4. Avoid Smoking

Avoid smoking as it causes additional sagging on the face and makes it look fatter and aged than it already is.  Moreover by quitting smoking there will be regular Vitamin C supply to your body and face that will help the skin to be elastic and thus lose fat.

5. Surgeries

Cosmetic surgery though is an expensive procedure but can be considered for reducing facial fat if no other means are working.  Facelifts and similar things are common though. Ultrasound involves the use of ultrasound mechanism in reducing the facial fats. Ultrasound waves penetrate inside the face and help the fat cells to melt without causing any harm to the surrounding tissues and nerves.
